Wellness exams are important to ensure your pet is in ideal health. These exams generally start out with obtaining vital signs followed by a head to tail exam. Based on the physical exam findings and your concerns, our veterinarian may recommend performing diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, x-rays, fecal exam, and urinalysis.

Our doctors perform both elective and non-elective procedures. Our state-of-the-art equipment allows us to monitor your pet during anesthesia to ensure they are safe. We also perform some orthopedic surgeries. Please call our hospital and schedule an appointment with us to learn more information about our surgical services.

Vaccinating your pet is an extremely important and vital step to protect your pet from potentially deadly diseases. The State of California requires that all canines be vaccinated against Rabies due to a public health concern. Vaccines serve as a preventative measure against diseases such as Distemper, Parvovirus Parainfluenza, Rabies, Panleukopenia, and Feline Leukemia Virus. Vaccines generally begin around 8 weeks of age for both puppies and kittens and are boostered annually once their puppy/kitten series is over.

We recognize that vaccinating can be expensive, which is why we offer our vaccine clinic every Monday - Thursday from 10 am - 11 am. During this time, vaccines are generally discounted by as much as 50%.

Our pets do not have the ability to tell us what hurts or how long their symptoms have been going on, so diagnostic tests are key in being able to identify problems. We are fortunate enough to be able to perform most of our diagnostic tests in house. We have digital x-rays, an ultrasound machine, and in-house bloodwork. We also have the ability to send our x-rays to radiologists for a quick turnaround time. If we are unable to perform any diagnostic tests in-house we work closely with a local lab to ensure your pet gets the best care.
